My name is Kerry McCuskey, founder and owner of Tea Associates.
I was born in Bendigo to Irish parents, Ben & Mary McCuskey and have 6 siblings.
My obsession with tea began as a young girl, and I am so proud that I am able to share my passion of creating beautiful blends for you.
Every part of the Tea Associates journey has been carefully considered, right down to the finest details. Rest assured that so much love and care has been invested into every single blend – it’s an extension of me!
•THE BRAND•
The Tea Associates logo is Celtic in design, representing my Irish heritage, whilst the blends are a strong representation of my birthplace, Bendigo. The concept itself features an elegant logo created from the circular repetition of a love heart and tea leaf illustration.
The Artisan tea logo symbolizes many things, a love of tea and ones health; coming together with friends and loved ones or just taking a pause to enjoy the ritual of brewing and drinking a cup of tea.

•ETHICS + ENVIRONMENT•
Tea Associates products are sourced locally and internationally, working with FairTrade Organisations and sourcing organic products from certified producers where possible. Tea Associates packaging is fully compostable and biodegradable. Tea leaves and tea bags can be put into home composting or worm farms, containing heat, water, oxygen, soil and micro-organisms – an ideal environment for decomposition. Tea Associates tins can be re-filled by purchasing stock directly from our online store or re-purposed. (Don’t forget to share your creations with us – we’d love to see!)
Tea Associates has six tea blends available in biodegradable tea bags, including strings and tags.
Tea Associates and Fifteen Trees have joined forces. For every purchase over $85 made through our online store, we have one tree planted.
Fifteen trees is a social enterprise company located in the Central Highlands of Victoria. They work with community groups to provide trees for regional and rural planting projects. These trees help collect greenhouse gas emissions, as well as provide native wildlife with new habitats. The trees also assist in reversing the effects of soil erosion and rising salt levels.
Tea Associates are proud to be responsible for the planting of 120 trees in the Bendigo region. Here is the link to some of those trees.
